The Cavenagh offers a convenient location close to the waterfront, Smith Street Mall, the bus station, and the tourist information centre, making it easy to explore Darwin. Guests appreciate the communal kitchen and laundry facilities, which provide opportunities to save money, along with the large fridges in the rooms. Many enjoy the on-site bar area featuring live music and the inviting pool area; however, some guests have noted noise from the live music in the courtyard below the rooms.
